The Chennai Super Kings Team (CSK) playing in the Indian Premier League (IPL) is a franchise. Cricket team based who founded in 2008 plays home matches at M. A. Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai. The team’s major stakeholder is owned by Chennai Super Kings Cricket Ltd and India Cements.
The Super Kings have won the highest IPL title thrice (in 2010, 2011, and 2018), matches among all teams in the IPL (59.83%).
But in IPL 2021, all matches will be played at neutral venues, no team will play at its home venue. All teams will play at 4 out of 6 venues during the league stage.

The fortunes had also left one of the successful IPL franchises, the IPL 2020 moved away from India due to the Covid-19 pandemic. For the first time in the Indian Premier League’s history, Chennai Super Kings was failed to qualify for the playoffs as it ended the league phase in the seventh spot on the IPL points table.
